The reef, in miniature.
Named for the French word for reef, the Récif scatters a shoal of small tropical fish across a crisp white ground. They come in orange, yellow, blue, teal, green, pink and red, each with its own markings of stripes, waves or dots. From a distance, the shirt reads as clean white with a lively scatter of colour. Up close, every fish has its own character, and the print rewards a longer look.
The details carry the idea through. An aqua lining sits inside the collar and cuffs, with a fine orange edge at the collar and golden yellow buttons that pick up the sunnier fish. Open the collar or turn back the cuff and the colour shows.
Made in Turkey from 97% cotton with 3% elastane, it has a touch of stretch for easy movement through the day.
Wear it open at the collar with navy or stone trousers for a casual Friday, or under a navy blazer for a long lunch. Keep everything else plain and let the print do the talking.
