This tiled pattern of mirrored Art Nouveau flowers was hand-drawn in the Liberty studio and guided by the philosophy of prolific designer and theorist Christopher Dresser. Rooted in Dresser’s influential 1862 book ‘The Art of Decorative Design’, Macsen is an elegant embrace of nature’s fundamental principles- symmetry, order, growth, repetition, and alteration.
Producing fabrics and textiles since the 1800s, Liberty of London's now legendary fabrics are synonymous with classic florals, charming colour palettes, and delicately detailed prints.
