The open, gauze-like weave is achieved on antique looms using time-honoured twisting techniques, creating a texture that’s airy, resilient, and richly dimensional. It is also much stronger than your average woven knit fabric. Handmade from 100% silk and offered in a coarse (grossa) weave, each tie is a study in Italian craftsmanship - perfect for adding depth and refinement to tailored looks.
