Named for the French word for violet, the Violette carries its colour with real depth. Large, sweeping leaves are woven tone on tone into a deep violet ground, so the pattern stays understated at a distance and reveals itself the closer you look.
The leaves hold a quiet brilliance that only appears with movement. At rest, the tie is rich and restrained. Turned in the light, the leaves catch and shift against the violet, a detail photographs can’t fully capture.
Crafted from 100% silk in a floral jacquard weave, this tie is cut to a contemporary 7cm width. It sits sharply against the collar and suits both modern and classic lapels.
Wear it with a white or pale grey shirt and a navy, charcoal or mid-grey suit. The tonal pattern adds texture without competing, so it works as well in the office as it does at a wedding or an evening event. A white pocket square in a flat fold completes the look, or try a soft lilac to echo the leaves.
