In 'Maksimus', a stunning display of textured colour steals the spotlight, forming an eye-catching geometric arrangement. Composed of contrasting and complementary shades, these rectangular blocks were once used as paint chips in archival artworks. Typically, these hand-painted blocks were delicately applied around the paper’s edges, serving as reference samples or miniature colour palettes.
