Deep teal, crossed with colour.
Named for the gemstone found in almost every colour, the Tourmaline crosses a deep teal ground with fine lines of gold, pink and violet. Broad bands and pinstripes of soft aqua run the opposite way, so the lines meet in a woven diagonal plaid, with a band of warm ochre running alongside the coloured lines. From a distance, it reads as a rich, deep teal. Up close, the bright lines come into focus and reward a longer look.
Woven from 100% silk and cut to a contemporary 7cm width, this tie sits sharply against the collar and suits both modern and classic lapels.
Wear it with a white or pale blue shirt and a navy or charcoal suit, where the teal reads deep and the bright lines come forward cleanly. A pocket square in gold or soft pink picks up the detail. It works as well in the office as it does at a wedding or an evening event, and suits the man who likes colour in fine, controlled lines.
